‘Ten Years After: Live at the Fillmore East 1970’ compiles together two discs worth of smoking material from the fabled Fillmore East in New York City in late February 1970. It is a stunning snapshot of history and one of the purest documents of what the band was about at the time.

The sound, recorded by famed engineer Eddie Kramer (responsible for recording Jimi Hendrix), is fantastic. Fat and warm, the sound perfectly captures the atmosphere of the Fillmore that night. 

‘Ten Years After: Live at the Fillmore East 1970’ is a stunning, incendiary, smoking, ridiculous document.
